Frog Jumping

Sunday in the Exhibition Building. Noon. Find a frog, the best hopper, bring him/her to the fair and enter. this contest is split in age groups based on participation levels.

Veggie Races

Sunday after frog jumping in the Exhibition Building. REMEMBER: The vehicle part of your race must be a vegetable. Add wheels and hope its the fastest. Racers bodies not being 100% vegetable will be disqualified. This contest is divided by age groups based on participation levels.

Pedal Tractor Pull -Adult and Youth

Sunday after veggie races behind the Fair Office. Tractors and pull are provided. Open to youth and adults. Classes are determined my weight.

Langlade County Fair Queen/King

This program is open to youth living in Langlade County. The youth must be 14-17 by May first of the current year of the fair.
Each youth will be given raffle tickets to sell. The youth selling the most tickets will be crowned Langlade County Queen/King.

The youth does not have be affiliated with 4-H.

Fairest of the Fair

This program is open to anyone living in Langlade County. The candidate must be 18 years of age by January 1st of the year following the fair.
The Fairest will become the ambassador of the Langlade County Fair for one year. During that time they will promote the fair through radio and interviews, as needed. Attend the fair daily to greet fair-goers, present awards, and coordinate a Fairest of the Fairs Scavenger Hunt.

The Fairest will attend the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Annual Convention at Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells during January. They will learn speaking skills, proper etiquetee, interview and public speaking skills, along with joining approximately 40 other counties for 4 days of events. If selected as the winner, at the annual convention, the contestent will have the opportunity to come an employee of the Wisconsin State Fair.

All convention expenses are paid for my the Langlade County Fair
Upon completion of duties the Fairest is awarded a $500 Scholarship
